Abstract

In recent times, corruption has being the biggest challenge in many public sectors around the world, and Nigeria is not an exempted. This menace has led to government inefficiencies in service delivery, infrastructural deficiencies, drain of government treasury and loss of public trust by the citizens. This paper examined Treasury Single Account as a measure of corruption control in Nigerian public sector. The study used exploratory research approach. Findings from extant literature revealed that TSA policy implementation can curb corruption and financial recklessness of public office holders. It therefore recommened among others that more technological driving policies should be put in place in Ministries, Departments and Agencies to reduce financial leakages of government so that more financial resources will be available for infrastructural development in the country.
